All-new comedy from KCP’s own radio variety show—and your exclusive source for Queen City Radio bits including The Wildes of Nature, Slender Pickens' Rural Dating & Mating Service, Congressman Rivets' Fireside Apologies, Alexander Graham Bell’s Second Phone Call, Spy Talk (like NPR’s Car Talk, except for spies), the all-new game show, You Catch It You Keep It, plus much more…
The Queen City Radio Hour (QCRH) debuted at the July 2009 Samuel de Chaplain 400 festival—featuring original Vermont-flavored comedy and world-class music for later broadcast. QCRH has drawn from a mix of writing and acting talent including Tom Bodette (NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me), Abby Paige (Windy Acres, Judevine, Piecework), Rusty Dewees (The Logger), Gary Farmer (Smoke Signals), Tantoo Cadinal (Where the Rivers Flow North), Munson Hicks (August: Osage County) and others. Musicians have included Anais Mitchell, The Horse Flies, The Lost Fingers, Le Vent du Nord, Samirah Evans, and Scottish singer Emily Smith. Expect anyone and anything—just for laughs!
Directed and produced by Jay Craven.
Produced by Kingdom County Productions in association with Marlboro College.
Head writer: Sascha Stanton-Craven (Windy Acres, The Onion).
