| Produced during the 2000 Summer Institute, the 3rd summer of filmmaking with Fledgling teens, Take Three is a collection of three short films all written, directed and acted by teenagers. All three films examine issues of family, friendship, community and teen relationships with a wistful, comic touch. Set on Independence Day in a small Vermont town, The Works follows a group of friends trying to come together for their annual fireworks celebration. In Begotten, when a group of high-school friends gather for one last night before heading off to college, the line between reality and fantasy blurs and the teens learn to be careful what they wish for. Three Point Turn is a heartfelt story of six teens navigating a typical school day who find themselves thrown together in an emergency. |
