High Water tells the story of an indomitable Vermont farm boy in his quest to compete in his first stock car race. Set in 1959 in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, the film finds young Waterman struggling to overcome an unending series of physical obstacles while trying to hold off the disapproving resistance of his stubborn father.
